The process used in the making of the number plates produces an item which looks and feels, apart from it's weight, very much like the prototype. The numbers and border are made from a brass composite, polyurethane & brass, giving a weathered brass effect which can be polished with Brasso. It weighs only 2.5kg making it simple to hang on any wall and is fitted with brass mirror brackets to enable this.

 

The items pictured below are examples of signs and plates available at eightyone e reproductions. Cabside numberplates are made to order to display with any number of your choice. 'Caution' plates, Craneplates  & Shedplates are produced using an iron composite, typically 60% polyurethane 40% iron by weight. Castings created from an originals have all the casting characteristics of the original and come fully painted, ready to display.
